Mission, Vision & History
Mission
The mission of the Mount Kisco Public Library is to promote a love of reading and a sense of wonder and discovery amongst our patrons.
Vision
The Mount Kisco Public Library will become the Community Hub of Mount Kisco, offering welcoming public spaces, current materials and relevant programs that promote reading, digital exploration, and personal growth.
History
The New York State Board of Regents chartered the Mount Kisco Public Library on March 31, 1910. The library is governed by a Board of Trustees who set policies, oversee the Library budget, and perform other vital functions. Board members are elected for three year terms.
